Perryman Wrangler Ranch

Visit the Old West, partner, at the Perryman Ranch. This ranch is a portion of the original homestead established by the Perryman family in 1896. Two hundred acres remain of the original 250,000 acres operated by this frontier family. Visitors can eat cowboy fare around a campfire, enjoy a hayride, and watch Native American dancers perform. Occasionally, the Wild, Wild West comes alive in staged outlaw shootouts.

The Tulsa Air and Space Museum features general aviation exhibits as well as recognizing Tulsa’s rich aviation history. Exhibits include an F-14 Tomcat, Bell 47-K helicopter, shuttle launch cockpit simulator, wind tunnel, and airplane simulators. A computer-simulation lab offers flight simulation training and other multi-media activities. Exhibits include the Spartan C-3 biplane, built in Tulsa in 1930 and purchased by W.G. Skelly when he began Spartan Aircraft Company, and the C-2 monoplane, a trainer used at Spartan School of Aeronautics in Tulsa.

Experience many other parts of the world all in one day at the Tulsa Zoo and Living Museum. The zoo features nearly 1,500 animals of 436 species on 78 acres within Tulsa’s Mohawk Park. Many of the animals are rare and endangered. Exhibits where the animals can be viewed include the Tropical Rain Forest, North American Living Museum, Elephant Encounter, Children’s Zoo, Animal Kingdom, Sea Lions, Bear and Cat Grottos, African Savanna and Aldabra Tortoises. Visitors can get up close and personal with the zoo’s chimpanzees at the Chimpanzee Connection.
