Experience the grandeur of the 1920s at the Philbrook Museum of Art. This restored historic villa was once the home of oilman Waite Phillips, and it is located in one of Tulsa’s oldest neighborhoods. More than 8,500 works of art, including Italian renaissance art, classical and Oriental pieces, and extensive Native American collections are exhibited at the Philbrook. The Italian-style villa is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and was featured in the television series “America’s Castles.”

Celebrate North American history and view the world’s largest and most comprehensive collection of American West art at the Gilcrease Museum. The Gilcrease features more than 10,000 paintings, drawings, prints and sculptures by 400 artists from colonial times to the present. Works by Remington, Russell, Catlin and Moran portray the Old West. Extensive archival and anthropology collections spanning various cultures throughout the 20th century are also on exhibit.
